New Era for Crow Fair: 'Teepee Capital of the World' Becomes a Nonprofit

GLACIER COUNTY, MONTANA, AUG 8 – Crow Fair transitioned to nonprofit status to secure funding amid tribal budget cuts, raising nearly $290,000 and aiming for $500,000 annually to sustain the event and staff.

As powwow manager and executive director, Noel Twoleggins is leading the transformation of the fair into a nonprofit, and doing the heavy lifting behind Montana's largest powwow.
