- Tomas Kunzmann will vacate his role as CEO of Allianz Partners to join the Allianz SE Board of Management on January 1, 2027, prompting the leadership reshuffle across both divisions.
- Under Kroetz, Allianz Direct nearly doubled its customer base to more than 3.2 million across five European markets while introducing AI-supported claims settlement and indicative pricing via ChatGPT.
- Bringing deep expertise in mobility and service-led customer solutions, Laurent Floquet, currently Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Partners since January 2025, will succeed Kroetz as Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Direct.
- Allianz intends these appointments to advance its Connected Platforms strategy, integrating AI-enabled technology with global service networks for personalized customer experiences. A successor for Floquet's Chief Operating Officer role remains to be announced.
