The luxury group led by 76-year-old Bernard Arnault held its general meeting this Thursday, April 17.

At the general meeting of the luxury group, the founder of LVMH obtained the opportunity on Thursday to hold the position of CEO until his 85th birthday.

LVMH shareholders have today voted to allow Bernard Arnault, 76, to remain at the helm of the world's largest luxury group until he is 85.

At the age of 76, Bernard Arnault had no intention of retiring and passing LVMH's presidency to one of his five children: he had shareholders vote to postpone the age limit to 80 to take up the position of CEO.
