- On Tuesday, Netflix confirmed that One Piece Season 3 will debut in 2027 under the official title One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, adapting Eiichiro Oda's beloved manga.
- Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew journey to the desert kingdom of Alabasta to help Princess Vivi combat a rebellion secretly orchestrated by Sir Crocodile and Baroque Works.
- Co-Showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes are currently filming in Cape Town, promising a "war story that's epic and emotional." New cast members include Xolo Mariduena as Portgas D. Ace and Cole Escola as Bon Clay.
- Netflix also announced a two-part animated Lego One Piece special, produced in partnership with the Lego Group and Shueisha, premiering September 29 with brick-built action and comedy.
- Separately, the streamer revealed a first look at The One Piece, a new anime saga from WIT Studio that reimagines the iconic East Blue saga using cutting-edge visual technology.
