N.B. child protection system failed youth who died of overdose, advocate says

FREDERICTON - New Brunswick’s child and youth advocate Kelly Lamrock says the province’s child protection system failed a teenager who died last year.

The system ignored 15 different calls for help during the last year of a teenager's life who died in the hospital of his second overdose. According to the Children's and Youth Defender, Kelly Lamrock, 12 people in the system turned their backs on this young person.
