Nato Fighter Jets Scrambled Three Times Last Week to Intercept Russian Aircraft

Fighter jets carrying out NATO air policing functions in the Baltic States scrambled three times last week to identify and escort Russian aircraft that violated flight rules, the Ministry of National Defense (KAM) reported on Monday. According to the ministry, last Monday the fighter jets were scrambled to identify an IL-20 aircraft that was flying in international airspace from the Russian mainland to the Russian Kaliningrad region.
