Federal Foreign Minister Wadephul is travelling to Lithuania today. In Vilnius, the capital of the Baltic EU and NATO country, the CDU politician wants to meet Prime Minister Ruginiene and Foreign Minister Budrys.
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Johann Wadephul, at the Government on Monday. The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Lithuania and Germany, the security situation in the region and the strengthening of NATO's eastern flank, and other topical issues were discussed.
