Master Police Officer Vann Sayasithsena of Fairfax, Va., lays a rose at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial on Sunday with K-9 Valor during the National Police K-9 Memorial Service to honor fallen police dogs. Sayasithsena was paying respects to Titan, a Coweta County, Ga., sheriff’s office dog who was killed last November while charging an armed suspect.
