The men's pole vault qualification, held on Friday at the EMI Athletics Championships, was halted for a while after Croatian athlete Ivan Geronimo Šeric fell at a starting height of 5.25. A wheelchair was even brought in for the athlete, but after a terrifying wait, he left the pole vault sector on his own.
