US stocks started the new week with minor price declines. As in Asia and Europe earlier on Monday, it was the chip stocks that were the ones that took the brunt and weighed the most, and therefore the Nasdaq also fell the most among the leading indices, while the Dow Jones actually ended slightly in the green.
