Wall Street closed this Tuesday on mixed ground, with a view to the conflict in the Middle East and its impact on oil prices, but the Nasdaq technology index set another record.
The Nasdaq Composite hit a new intraday high on Tuesday, while the S&P 500 closed almost unchanged as investors continued to closely monitor developments in US-Iran relations. The tech-heavy Nasdaq rose 0.45% to a new record high of 27,244.28, with Sandisk shares up nearly 7% after Rosenblatt gave it a positive review. The S&P 500 fell marginally to 7,764.64, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 185.14 points, or 0.36%, to 51,863.69.
