NASA has released an image of the dark side of the Moon complete with handwritten annotations made by the Artemis II crew who were observing it at the time.
Five very faint flashes of light, produced by rocks of just a few centimeters that hit the Moon, were seen by the four Artemis II astronauts from the Orion spacecraft. NASA detailed it in the preliminary scientific report of the mission, published on October 7.
