North Korea hackers stole data from South Korea court computers: Police
- South Korean national police confirmed North Korean hackers grabbed 1,014 gigabytes of data, including personal and financial records, from a court's computer system from 2021 to 2023.
- Hackers' malware sent the stolen data to various servers before being detected by antivirus software, according to the police statement sent to AFP.
- Only 4.7 gigabytes of the stolen data has been recovered by Seoul authorities, containing documents on personal debt rehabilitation cases, marriage certificates, and insolvency reasons.
