Myles Garrett Is Expected to Return for the Rams This Weekend After a 7-Game Injury Absence
- On Friday, sources reported Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett is "on track to be activated" from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders.
- Garrett, the 2025 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has been sidelined since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery following the Rams' season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
- Despite acquiring Garrett this offseason, the Rams defense currently ranks tied for 26th with 12 sacks, contrasting with his NFL-record 23 sacks for the Cleveland Browns in 2025.
- Sunday could mark the first time Garrett and Aaron Donald play together in the same lineup after Garrett practiced all week with limited participation.
- With cornerback Jaylen Watson out for the season due to shoulder surgery, the Rams need their defensive front to generate pressure against Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels.
