- In their offensive against the military government, the resistance fighters in Kawlin seized control of several key facilities including a police station, administration office, high school, land management and statistics office, and a bank. The victory in Kawlin follows the previous successful offensive led by the Three Brotherhood Alliance, further boosting the nationwide armed struggle against the military regime.
