UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- The Mohawk Valley Health System named its new president and CEO after a national search, the system announced on Thursday. In a statement released on Thursday, September 18, MVHS announced that Dr. William LeCates will be the new president and CEO for the entire system, which includes the Wynn Hospital in Utica. The Board of Directors of Mohawk Valley Health System have named Dr. William W. LeCates, as president and chief executive officer of the health system, effective Monday, Oct. 20. He will succeed Darlene Stromstad, who is retiring after nearly seven years of service to MVHS.
