A former acting minister of culture and information policy of Ukraine has been served with a notice of suspicion for facilitating the illegal transportation of individuals across Ukraine’s state border, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko said.

A former Ukrainian culture minister was indicted for alleged collaboration in a scheme that helps Ukrainian men leave the country to participate in invented music tournaments, in order to escape such military service during the war, according to Attorney General Ruslan Kravcenko.
Eight men of conscription age left Ukraine and so far have not returned, the prosecutor general said.
Former acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy Rostyslav Karandeev confirmed that he received suspicion in the case of facilitating the illegal crossing of the state border.
