Inflation has been rising in Mumbai and its surrounding areas since the beginning of September. Many daily necessities including milk, CNG, PNG and tea have become expensive from today. Milk prices have increased due to the increase in animal feed prices, while the increase in CNG and gas prices has also affected tea and public transport.
Mumbai has started the month of September with increased costs for the common man. MGL has increased the rate of CNG by ₹2 and domestic PNG by ₹1. On the other hand, the wholesale price of farm milk has been increased by ₹9 to ₹102 per litre.
