Multi-agency search after female seen entering water by Margate lifeboat station

Emergency services were called at 5pm after the female was seen entering the sea by the Margate lifeguard station. A sea and shoreline search ensued. After around two hours of searching the casualty was located ashore near Palm Bay by Kent Police and the rescue units were stood down and returned to station.
