Mr. Alford Grant “Al” Pettit

Mr. Alford Grant “Al” Pettit, age 82, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 16, 1943 in Ripley County, Indiana. He was the son of the late William Theodore and Florence Etta (Gelvin) Pettit. He was raised in Vevay and East Enterprise, Indiana, where he attended school. Al was inducted into the United States Army on April 7, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky, serving in the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service
