The Regional Health Agency of La Réunion has confirmed that two new cases of Mpox (or smallpox B) have been registered, bringing the number of cases recorded since the beginning of the year to six. - Mpox: two new cases confirmed in La Réunion (Health and well-being).
The transmission of smallpox B is mainly done in close contact with the person or by contaminated objects such as laundry, bedding or dishes. A period of isolation of three weeks is recommended.
