With Thunderbird 146, the developers in the mail client improve some bugs and introduce minor innovations. The configuration of the preferred OpenPGP key server via the user interface instead of via the "about:config" page is one of them. For more security, existing logins are migrated during the update to use more modern AES encryption instead of 3DES-CBC. Thus, the innovations are already described.

As of Thunderbird 146, the OpenPGP key server can be configured in the user interface. In addition, the new version migrates logins to AES encryption.
