The Campbell River RCMP say six impaired drivers were stopped in just as many hours during a roadcheck in the Courtenay area last week. On Nov. 4, between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., police say they issued six immediate roadside driving bans for people who were suspected of being impaired by alcohol, and all six of the drivers had their vehicles impounded.
