Motorcyclist dead after two-vehicle crash in Hamilton: OPP
HAMILTON, ONTARIO, JUL 8 – A 20-year-old motorcyclist from Oakville died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 403, with police investigating the unclear circumstances of the collision.
A 20-year-old motorcyclist from Oakville died following a two-vehicle accident shortly after 2 p.m. on July 7 on the westbound side of Highway 403 near the Lincoln Alexander Parkway ramp in Hamilton.
Emergency services responded promptly following a serious collision involving the motorcycle and a sedan whose driver was uninjured and remained at the scene, while exact causes remain unclear.
Authorities shut down the highway and adjacent ramps for roughly four hours to carry out a detailed examination of the incident and have asked anyone with dashcam recordings or witness accounts from the scene to come forward.
The Ontario Provincial Police confirmed no charges have been laid so far and said the Burlington detachment continues investigating the collision.
The collision resulted in the motorcyclist's death and prompted ongoing inquiry, indicating continued police focus on establishing the incident’s circumstances and public safety measures.
