At a plea hearing in Boone County Circuit Court in Madison, West Virginia on Nov. 21, 2025, Julie Miller pleaded guilty to death of a child by parent, guardian or custodian. She was charged in April 2024 in death of her 14-year-old daughter, Kynnedi Miller who was found dead in an emaciated state in the Miller family home near Morrisvale, Boone County. The plea was in lieu of a trial.
