HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Kyle Morrison lofted a 2-2 pitch into right field with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth to provide the game-winning single in lifting No. 18 Southern Miss to a 5-4 victory over Tulane Tuesday night at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.

Tulane brought five players into the infield to face Kyle Morrison in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded. It may sound crazy, but given that Southern Miss had its last three innings end in twin killings, it was the right move.
