Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – In a press conference today, Governor Patrick Morrisey says the state has already spent 8.6 million dollars out of the 14.1 million that it had pledged. There have been roughly $400,000 in direct contributions by private entities so far. 202 National Guard Members are on the ground and have delivered 6,500 boxes of food to pantries, as well as another 4,000 boxes directly to West Virginians at pop-up food pantries.
