Baanan politics is considered by one of the most important leaders of his history. Rabelo presided over the PCdoB from 2001 to 2015. Since 2023, the politician has dedicated himself to health care, having fought in recent times against cancer. He leaves his wife, Leiro Villan Conceição, and children.
