The president of the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH), Amina Bouayach, announced Morocco’s decision to host the 10th World Congress on the Abolition of the Death Penalty in Marrakech, following the ninth edition held in Paris. During a meeting at the French National Assembly on 2 July, she held the election of the neighbouring country as the venue for this event, which will be held for the first time outside Europe and Canada.
