After several scandals, the Chinese fast fashion brand Shein is in the government's sights. Several MPs of different political colours also call for the end of its distribution on the territory in a gallery published this Sunday, November 23.
"The debate can no longer be content with indignation," the parliamentarians argue in a rostrum, calling for "Shein's ban on French territory".
While Shein's installation at the BHV continues to create controversy, 83 deputies led by the President of the Assembly's Committee on Sustainable Development, Sandrine Le Feur (EPR), are calling for a ban on the Chinese giant of e-commerce in France.
In La Tribune Sunday, dozens of parliamentarians accuse the fast-fashion giant of "unfair competition" and of inundating the market for "toxic products".
These elected representatives of different political sides, who express themselves in a text published in The Sunday Tribune, want to "protect workers, public health and the planet".
