After a record summer of heat and fire, thousands of people marched across France to demand emergency measures for the climate.
"This summer more than 8,000 people died in France due to the heatwave and at least 5 million acres of forest burned in the European Union," Greta Thunberg recalled.
After a difficult summer, rhythmic by heat waves and fires, and a few months before the presidential deadline, climate mobilizations brought together 100,000 people in more than 250 communes in France, according to the organizers. Reportage in Lyon and Paris.
