AROUND 200 people braved wind and rain on Saturday afternoon to attend a white line picket in protest at Strabane’s inclusion in the UK Town of Culture competition.Organised by Cairde Strabane, the protest saw locals line the road from Upper Main Street to Abercorn Square, holding signs and tricolours in opposition to the town’s participation in the competition.
