More than 1,000 passengers have left Lebanon on flights booked by Canada, GAC says

Global Affairs Canada has helped over 1,000 passengers leave Lebanon amid the conflict involving Israel and Hezbollah.
One flight carried 126 passengers on Saturday, and another had 139 on Sunday, with more than 5,000 Canadians offered flights.
Over 25,000 Canadians are registered in Lebanon, with estimates suggesting up to 45,000 could be present.
