Only 13 States's Medicaid Still Cover GLP-1 Drugs to Treat Obesity, and More Are Dropping Out

Medicaid programs in California, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and South Carolina have eliminated coverage of the drugs for weight loss, because the expense strained state budgets. The medications generally have been too expensive for people without insurance.
