A contingent of 28 rescue workers, doctors and volunteers left Argentina for Venezuela to join the humanitarian efforts. The mission seeks to collaborate in locating missing persons and providing medical care in the earthquake-affected camps of June 24. A new contingent composed of doctors, rescuers and volunteers took off from Argentina to Venezuela to integrate into the assistance efforts in the areas impacted by the earthquakes of June 24.
The contingent will also provide primary medical care in camps where families who have lost their homes remain, with special attention to patients with chronic diseases and to the prevention of infections resulting from post-disaster health conditions.
