Gatherings of high school students, for some of the violent ones, were still held throughout France on Friday. Unsatisfied with the responses of the authorities, the organizations called for a new day of mobilization on Tuesday where the education staff unions will be present.
Received at the Ministry of Education in the context of the high school mobilization, the student unions welcome the resumption of the dialogue, while regretting that many demands remain unanswered. Calls to continue the movement next week are already being made, as France 24 journalist Marie Schuster explains.
A day of action for high school students and students, with which the Fage, the first student organisation, joins, is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6.
