Mississippi State Races Past Minnesota 38-13 with Another Clinic by Rising Star QB Kamario Taylor

- On Saturday, Mississippi State defeated Minnesota 38-13 in the first-ever matchup between the programs at Huntington Bank Stadium. The Bulldogs dominated with 479 yards of total offense to improve to 2-0.
- Quarterback Kamario Taylor guided the offense, scoring touchdowns on all four first-half possessions while passing for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor also rushed for 86 yards, rarely pressured when dropping back to pass.
- Running back Fluff Bothwell added 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns, helping the Bulldogs maintain a 252-13 advantage in rushing yards. Minnesota committed 11 penalties for 112 yards while failing to score on offense.
