Employers will have a maximum period of 15 days to register the finiquito minutes, counted from the end of the employment relationship, as recorded in the Ministerial Agreement MDT-2025-053, signed on 12 May last by the Minister of Labour, Ivonne Núñez, and published in the Official Register on 15 May, and amend the Agreement BAT-2023-140 of 14 November 2023.
The Ministry of Labour of Ecuador issued Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-053, which reduces from 30 days to 15 days the maximum period that employers have to register the final act and make the payment of liquidations to their former workers.
