The Minister of Labour and Employment Promotion, Juan Sheput, announced that the minimum vital remuneration (RMV) will be increased by two stages until reaching the S/ 1300. The National Labour Council discussed the formation of a Special Productivity and Minimum Wage Commission. It added that a measure for a possible withdrawal of pension funds should be carried out with technical studies.
The announcement was made by Minister Juan Sheput after the National Labor Council (CNT) met.
Following the meeting of the CNTPE, the Minister of Labour noted that the first tranche would raise the RMV from S/1.130 to S/1230 and could be implemented in October or November. The remaining S/70 would be added during the first half of 2027.
