Minister of Education, Daniel David, said last night that he would like to give up the National Assessment of Class VIII with the role of selection and stay with the role of information. He explained that this cannot be done now because teachers are not using a sufficient level of homogene to make notes, and 8 in a common sense means something more than 8 in Cluj or Bucharest.
The Minister of Education explained that currently he cannot give up on the selective role of the National Assessment, but in the future he would like it to be only with the information role, as it is with the small classes.
