Military assumes security in Bauchi's Alkaleri LGA to stop bandits

The Nigerian Army deployed additional troops and intensified intelligence-led operations to dismantle bandit hideouts and restore peace, following displacement of residents in four communities.

Following persistent bandit attacks, the Nigerian military has reportedly taken over security operations in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state.
