The government closed July with a financial surplus of $244,897 million and accumulated just 0.1% of GDP in the first seven months of 2026. The result was conditioned by the payment of interest on the debt, which greatly exceeded the fiscal balance of the month.
In the first 7 months of the year, the SPN accumulated a primary surplus of approximately 0.9 per cent of GDP and a financial surplus of approximately 0.1 per cent of GDP.
