Mikayla Matthews Announces She's Quitting 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives'
Matthews said continuing to work with Taylor Frankie Paul would harm her mental health and the children as Season 6 remains in production.
- On Monday, TikToker Mikayla Matthews announced her departure from 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' ahead of the show's sixth season, which is currently filming in Italy.
- Matthews cited her refusal to 'platform behavior I don't agree' as the primary reason, insinuating ongoing friction with co-star Taylor Frankie Paul over her actions on the series.
- Production previously paused following a domestic violence investigation involving Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, which included mutual restraining orders and a custody battle.
- "There's no amount of money worth going against my morals," Matthews wrote, adding she finds it "unethical" to profit from storylines she believes harm children.
- Season 6 faces uncertainty regarding Matthews' participation while Hulu has not confirmed Paul's future status on the series as filming continues.
