In the second and third readings, the State had adopted a law on experimental digital control of migrants in Moscow and the Moscow region. According to the document, the experiment would begin on the first September 2025 and would last four years. It provided for the registration of foreign nationals in a special mobile application and their consent to the processing of personal data, including mobile phone data and geolocation.
