This achievement came after the charity marked its 75,000th mission in early 2023, demonstrating the increasing need for its emergency assistance across six counties.
The charity operates 24/7 with three air ambulance helicopters and critical care cars, delivering hospital-level care and advanced treatments immediately at emergency scenes.
Rob Davies, patient liaison lead, remarked that reaching over 80,000 missions in a relatively short time demonstrates the high need for their support and praised the crews and emergency teams for their commitment.
The achievement underscores the charity’s vital role in urgent care and its need for continued investment to maintain lifesaving pre-hospital interventions.
