Miami Comeback Falls Short at Oakland

ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Miami University women's basketball team nearly erased a 16-point fourth quarter deficit before falling 80-75 to Oakland University on Monday night. Tamar Singer had a career-high 18 points and added five assists and six steals, while Brooke Blumenfeld and Amber Scalia finished with 14 and 13 points for the RedHawks (2-1).­ Layla Gold had 21 points for the Golden Grizzlies (2-1).
