Mexico Repeals Ban on US Biotech Corn Imports Following USMCA Dispute Loss

(NAFB.com) – The Mexican government on Thursday repealed its ban on genetically modified corn imports from the U.S. after losing an arbitration ruling under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA, in December 2024. In a statement, USDA commended Mexico’s action, saying it  safeguards approximately $5.6 billion in U.S. corn exports to Mexico.
