The Secretariat of Economy presented six priorities that will guide the review of the T-MEC with the United States and Canada. The T-MEC review will enter on July 20 in its first substantive bilateral negotiation between Mexico and the United States. After Washington refused to automatically renew the trade agreement on July 1, both governments will return to the table with an agenda that will seek to resolve the main disagreements and define the course of negotiations over the next few years. For Mexico, that meeting already has a road map.
