He, accompanied by a silent accomplice, announced to him that he had just been robbed and was taking him into the house on the pretext of checking the premises. The non-agenaire trusted and thus revealed the hiding places of his most important property.
On 9 June 2025, in Longwy, a non-agenary was deceived by two men pretending to be police officers at his home. On the pretext of checking a burglary, they subdued all his fortune in cash, jewelry and watches, for a loot estimated at more than €300,000. Two men were tried on Monday 20 October in the court of Val de Briey.
