The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) stated that strong and heavy rainfall is expected in the Aydın, İzmir, Muğla, Denizli, and Antalya regions, and issued a warning against the risk of floods, waterlogging, and landslides.
According to the meteorological forecast, Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Adana, Eskişehir and Konya regions will experience showers and thunderstorms. The rainfall is expected to be heavy in Balıkesir, eastern Çanakkale, Aydın, İzmir and Denizli, and very heavy in western Antalya.
The Meteorological Service has issued a strong rainfall warning for many regions, particularly the Aegean and Western Mediterranean. Heavy downpours are expected in western Muğla and Aydın, with winds reaching up to 70 kilometers per hour along the Marmara and Southern Aegean coasts. In Istanbul, the rain will begin after evening hours.
